ReplyDeleteYes, the discovery of cotranport of sodium and glucose in intestine helped save millions of life. Only salt and water is not efficient in restoring the water and electrolyte balance. Addition of glucose, increases the reabsorption of salt, hence is more effective.......Keep it up Praveen
